Results from my last artistic residency at "Casa Aymat" (Barcelona).
This project talks about how our constant relationship with a virtual reality is affecting the way we relate to and inhabit our natural environment.
The works in this exhibition, portrays a new humanity that has lost the links that all species have with the ecosystem they live with. Placing ourselves as beings disconnected from this physical reality and alienated in a digital bubble. A new humanity that has lost the ability to even communicate without a technological intermediary and that depends on a constant virtual connection in order to understand and orient itself within a physical reality that feels more and more distant.
With these works I want to show how dangerous we can become as a species if we lose the boundaries between these two realities and do not respect the fragility and limits of our natural environment.
